Professional Journey

My nursing journey has been shaped by both my personal experiences and my passion for caring for others. Growing up in a family where many members are nurses, I have been inspired by their dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others. Their influence has played a significant role in motivating me to pursue a career in nursing. 

In addition, my experience working in long-term care has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of patient needs and the importance of providing compassionate, patient-centred care. These experiences continue to guide my growth as a future practical nurse.

Mission:

My mission is to provide compassionate, safe, and individualized care that supports the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of each patient. I strive to create a respectful and trusting environment where individuals feel valued, heard, and supported throughout their healthcare experience. 

I am committed to developing strong clinical judgement, effective communication, and evidence-informed practice to deliver high-quality care. Through continuous learning and self-reflection, I aim to grow both personally and professionally while adapting to the evolving needs of patients and the health care system. 

I seek to contribute positively to the healthcare team by promoting collaboration, maintaining professionalism, and advocating for patient safety and dignity. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I care for by providing thoughtful, competent, and holistic nursing care.

Nursing Philosophy

I believe nursing is a holistic profession that goes beyond providing physical care. It involves building trusting relationships, understanding each patient as a unique individual, and supporting their overall well-being. Nursing requires compassion, patience, and the ability to respond to both the physical and emotional needs of patients.
